Basic Elements is a interior design company based out of Airdre, Alberta. While working as a designer at the media firm Icona Inc., I was asked to create a modern, minimalistic design that had high visual impact.
They also had a few content heavy pages but wanted very light looking pages. I achieved this with some jQuery functionality that collapsed sections or ajaxed content into place. I hand coded the XHTML, CSS, jQuery and AS3 throughout the entire site.
In addition to the content pages I also created a XML driven Flash gallery. The client has been very happy with the site and the process we took to get to the final product.
