Alliance to end violence is a non-profit focused on violence against women and the elderly. While working as a designer at the media firm Icona Inc., I was asked to create a site that was was calming and professional. The site was to be geared towards the professionals in the industry and helping them find the resources they need. I created the designs, hand coded the XHTML, CSS, and created and programmed the XML driven Flash photo on the home page. The site was passed on to a developer who broke apart my templates and put them into a custom CMS. The client has continued to be very happy with the results. I have received a lot of positive feedback on the designs executed here.
